James W King’s passion for music started when he stumbled across his Dad’s old trumpet he had kept away in his closet for many years. His passion for music grew while playing the trumpet. James became interested in playing guitar and singing when he attended a talent show where he was inspired by a band he watched play. He quickly pulled some friends together and formed a band of their own.

In 2008 James married Megan Hadley and they soon moved to Lubbock,Texas where James attended South Plains College, 2008-2011, where he earned an Applied Associates of Arts Degree in Commercial Music. James tried out for and made many bands that the music department put together.

James and his wife moved home to Utah in May of 2011 and now have two beautiful daughters together. He is currently working on his official full length debut album and also attending Weber State for a degree in Graphic Design. He loves talking about arts and community and making new friends along the way.
